The S&F Story

From Warsaw
to Florida's Skyline

Skyforge Build Co. didn't start with a large portfolio. It started with a conviction — that architecture should serve people before it serves prestige. Founded in 2001 by John Bolek Snell following his work in academic and civic design across the United States, the studio set out to bring human-centered modernism to Palm Beach, Florida's most under-served architectural commissions.

Two decades later, Skyforge Build Co. has delivered over 180 projects across civic, cultural, educational, residential, and commercial sectors — each one a reflection of the belief that architecture strengthens community when it is accessible, warm, and purposeful.

We have weathered economic downturns, navigated three generations of building code revision, and expanded our practice from design-only to a full architectural and building consultancy. Today, we manage every phase from the first concept sketch to the final certificate of occupancy.

John Bolek Snell is a Polish-American architect born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. He studied Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology before relocating to the United States, where he completed graduate studies in Architecture and Urban Design at the University of South Florida. He is best known for designing civic, educational, cultural, and performing arts buildings that serve their communities with precision and humanity.

John is internationally recognized for his ability to combine modern architectural form with warmth, accessibility, and civic purpose — designing buildings that encourage community interaction and blend into their surroundings rather than dominating them. His expertise in concert hall acoustics and public experience has made him one of the most sought-after voices in performing arts architecture in the Midwest.

"Architecture should strengthen democracy, accessibility, and public life. We don't design buildings — we design the spaces where community happens."
